Perhaps she has met my mom, Nan  . I often wonder what my mom is doing, too. My mom spoke of wanting to dance in Heaven like a ballerina. I find comfort in thinking that is what she is able to do now. No pain, no tears. Just twirling and dancing...

I hope my mom has met yours Prayer Warrior and IwillseekHim.
Mine will be eating a feast, as she could eat so very little due to long standing stomach problems. But she can eat now! Jesus ate to show the disciples that He was real and I believe mom is eating too. And able to walk again! And to talk and to think clearly. And no pain! Totally healed!
Perhaps they have sat around and talked about us with each other?
One things for sure, they are filled with such joy, beyond what we can even imagine.
Thank You Father for the joy and comfort of knowing we will see our loved ones again. And when we do it will be forever more, with no more suffering or pain. In Your presence Lord, in Your perfect Kingdom.
Thank You, Thank You.
Comfort our hearts Lord as we miss those we love. May Your will be done. Amen
May we take comfort in this verse concerning our loved ones.

What a warmth in my heart and a growing smile as I read Nan, sparklingsnow and IwillseekHim's posts thinking upon their mothers in the presence of our Lord. Made me think of my grandmother's grandmotherly warm loving hugs. So I believe she must be hugging

Wow! Reading all those was just precious....I actually bet the Lord has let them read some of our prayer requests, maybe even suggesting they make requests (in person), too!!!
And study about God together! I bet the learning and joy of discovery never ends.

My mom is part of this group (11-7-08), and it is so comforting to think about how wonderful it is to be face-to-face with our Savior Jesus.
To live is Christ but to die is gain.
Father, comfort PW and Sparkle as well as all those who have lost parents.
Lift their hearts up and comfort them. Thank You that You have prepared
a place for each of Your children. In Jesus' Holy name, Amen.
Oh these are all so beautiful! Oh just to think of those mothers who suffered such pain before they went to be with the Lord. To think of them now being free to do all the things they could not do because they were so busy serving others! I imagine my mom too, sparkle, being able to eat her fill without having to worry about whether others had enough or not and later also such stomach problems. She would sing too, Nan. What a choir of angels that would be! She would delight in your mother's dance, Melissa and be able for once to accept and enjoy your grandmother's hugs, prayn4u!

Lord thank you for the comfort this post brings to those of us who have lost our beloved mothers and grandmothers. Thank you that we have this comfort in knowing they are with you and free from pain. Let this be great comfort to Nan, whose grief is so new. Thank you Father.

What a beautiful thought to have on this Sunday morning, Sarju. I pray, too, that Nan and Rita, who are so new in their grief can find comfort and solace in these last few posts. I even have to giggle when I think of my mom singing in a heavenly choir. God bless her cause she never could carry a tune. As a child it was almost embarrassing for me. That never once stopped her from singing praises to the Lord, though. I have a special memory of the last time she visited with me at my own church. Tears streaming down her face as she stood and sang How Great Thou Art. Perhaps that is what she sings this morning, in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This time, the "joyful noise" is a beautiful one.

I pray that You will continue to comfort Nan about the loss of her mom. Even though we know our moms
are with you and happier than they have ever been before, we still miss them. Keep Nan in Your loving

Lord,
Today, I went to lunch with 2 ladies from church. It turned out they were divorced, bitter, and thought I had it made because Bob 'loved me.' I finally could not stand it anymore, started crying IN THE RESTAURANT, then got mad, and told them I had to go. Then one of them said, "Did I offend you somehow? If so, I WANT AN EXAMPLE."
I don't play games. I went out with such joy and expectation and hope, that I thought it was a miracle.
What a bomb. I told them as quickly as I could, since I was literally crying, that all I heard from them was that I had it made because I didn't get a divorce!!!!! bob only DIED!!!!!
In six months, while we planned a wedding, had a wedding, I drug bob to the wedding, to Loyola, I drug the poor man to Houston to be around when a baby was born, I drug all the suitcases, the wheelchairs, etc etc etc.
I lost my best friend, whom we made each other our best friend!!! It took WORK.
I am so sick of people who think I am fine and should have no problem, because THEY had all the problems because they got divorced and I didn't!!!
The pain in my heart has lasted all day. I wish I had NEVER gone to church. What a BOMB.

Please comfort Nan and bring Christian friends into her life who lift her up instead of bringing her down. Help us honor You Lord as we interact with each other in the Body of Christ and certainly how we act in front of non-Christians. Help those women understand how their comments hurt Nan so that they will not hurt someone else.
