The salmon was terrible, yet again, so that's it-- I've given up on making salmon while we're still living in this area. Just can't get any decent quality, non-bitter/non-fishy (much less fresh) salmon. We'll just have to take our fish oil capsules.

I get coarsely ground peppercorns from the store (Bulk Barn here in Canada). Make my burger patties, sprinkle some peppercorns on a plate, and press the patties in the peppercorns. I cook them as usual on the George Foreman.

I use, oh, maybe 1 tsp of peppercorns per patty, more or less.

AMEN Gerald,

Wow. my wife and I moved in July from Albuquerque; we lived on the SW Mesa. I'm in green chile withdrawl. Perhaps we'll have to pack up the RV and make a week of it to overload.

CCPizza makes a mean alfredo spinach green chile chicken pizza, for a buffet. If there are any CC's left that is.

We are having burgers from Biff Buzby Burgers off of Toepperwein in San Antonio, 1/4 lbs not the 3lbs red baron. Whew. Served with Mexican style beans.

Decided last-minute to get Chinese take-out last night, so tonight it's whole grain spaghetti and homemade meatballs, spring greens with homemade honey-lemon dressing, and red wine. Shabbat Shalom to us!

I made tuna casserole for hubby. I wasn't in the mood for that, so I'm having clam chowder out of a can.

And no, there's no significance to all the seafood on a Friday during Lent. Coincidence.

Salami on white bread with sandwich spread and lots of mustard potato salad cold from the fridge. Oh I forgot, habanero peppers with the sandwich.

how do you like the KFC sandwiches? I have made a point of not eating KFC since the early 70's. Perhaps I should decide to give them a try again?

I got tired of consistently pink at the bone or worse chicken from them, after they started playing with the original recipe.

Oops. I just revealed more about my age.

I like the KFC sandwiches. They're similar to the crispy chicken sandwiches at other fast food restaurants.

We haven't had a problem with undercooked chicken at our KFC. Greasy, yes; undercooked, no.

Honestly, it's a heart attack restaurant. If you don't have the addiction, there's probably not much sense starting it up.
